I USED to think that massage was just something you did on vacation or for your Anniversary but since going to school and learning more about the body I am realizing that it is important for our self care and as a preventive health measure. I would much rather pay for a massage on a regular basis than pay for medication that has side effects that make me feel bad. When you get a massage you become more aware of where you hold tension and what muscles need some TLC to avoid future injuries.
Benefits of Massage: *Reducing stress and increasing relaxation. *Reducing pain and muscle soreness and tension. *Improving circulation, energy and alertness. *Lowering heart rate and blood pressure. *Improving immune function.
